OMQG would like to participate in the Wolfe Country Quilt Show and Garden Walk, a one-day outdoor event held on July 19th, 9am-3pm. To participate, we need at least 30 members' quilts to display (up to 50, depending on sizes). All quilts are welcome, but given the timeline should ideally already be completed.
We will have a separate sign up sheet for volunteers to help before, during and after the show.

To participate, bring an orphan block, back 2 " larger than block, small scissors, and reading glasses if you need them.
If you did not pre-order a kit, you can still participate by bringing the items listed above as well as a needle, thread (anything 50wt - 8wt will work except pearl cotton), thimble, and batting.

We are preparing for our March meeting and mini workshop. We will be learning hand quilting! You must sign up for a kit prior to the meeting. Please follow the link below to sign up. Kits are $5 for members ($10 for non-members) which can be paid at the Feb or March meeting.
Kits include: Project bag, rubber thimble, needle, thread, needle threader, batting square, large basting pins, class handout.
You just need to bring an orphan block up to 16", backing 2" larger than your block, scissors, & reading glasses if you need them.
