Choose one of these 4 color themes to make your quilt.
You need to use all 5 colors and ONLY these colors in your quilt.
Any size - any design - any fabric in these colors.

This 12-inch (finished size) block contains flying geese and half-square triangle blocks which can be made using traditional methods or an Accuquilt die. Please read all instructions before beginning.
Fabric Suggestions - It's YOUR Quilt, choose what makes YOU happy!
Background fabric -- solid or tone-on-tone (TOT) print
Star fabric - four different fabrics; you may wish to use solid or tone-on-tone (TOT) prints to enhance the woven look of the star.
Choose your cutting method:
Rotary Cutter
- See printable instructions
- Note: You will have triangles left over.
Accuquilt 12" & 6" Qubes
- Background Fabric:
- Four 12" Qube Shape #2 or 6" Qube Shape #1 Four 12" Qube Shape #4
- Fabric #1, #2, #3 & #4 - from each of these fabrics:
- Three 12" Qube Shape #5 or 6" Qube Shape #3 Two 6" Qube Shape #4
Sewing the Block (see attached assembly instructions with diagrams for color placement)
- Use scant 1/4" seam allowance.
- Construct four flying geese units, making one of each color combination. These should measure 3 1⁄2" x 61⁄2".
- Construct the four center blocks, making one of each color combination. These should measure 31⁄2" square.
- Sew together the four center blocks as shown in the diagram. This should measure 6 1/2" square.
- Lay out and sew the units together as shown in the diagram.
Measurement check: each finished Woven Star block should measure 12 1⁄2 inches square to finish at 12 inches when it is sewn into the quilt.
