May Meeting Information

Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 7th at the Westside Community Center - 3534 S 108th Street. Social time starts at 6:00pm. The business meeting will begin at 6:30pm followed by the program. The program this month is with Rose Mapel with Artistic Innovations NE.  She will be talking about barn quilts and doing a demonstration. Rose Mapel will also be doing our June workshop and you will have an opportunity to create a barn quilt.

Bring: Show and Tell; May HST String Block Lotto Blocks

We will have two raffle prizes at the meeting as well as door prizes.

 

The first raffle prize includes:

Riley Blake 6-FQ bundle

Triangles on a roll

4” Log Cabin Ruler

Quilt Addicts Anonymous-Retro Tiles pattern

Zipper pouch 

 

The second raffle prize is the ongoing prize from Haley Fetters and is a $65 quilting credit to her shop, Mistletoe Quilting Co.

Workshop Details:

Date: Saturday June 1st, 2024

Cost:  $70+ (please see form for options)

Time: 12 PM - 4 PM

Location: Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4117 Terrace Dr. (near OPS Morton Middle School, I-680 & Fort St.)

SHOP HOP POSTPONED

 The shop hop for tomorrow, April 13th has been postponed. Stay tuned for a new date once it has been decided. Have a great weekend!

April In Person Sew Days

 In Person Sew Days for April

We will have 2 In-Person Sew days for April. On Wednesday, April 17th the sew day will be at the Benson Library from 9am-1pm. On Saturday, April 20th the sew day will be at the Saddlebrook Library from 12:30pm-4:30pm. If you're interested in adding piecing to a sweatshirt at either sew day, please bring the following supplies: sweatshirt with a pocket, fabric to piece for the sweatshirt, seam ripper, sewing machine.
