May Meeting Recap
For our May meeting we had the incredible Cindy Erickson join us! She spoke with us on what it's like to be a quilt judge and what they look for during a show. She also shared her experience with us on being a Quilt Con judge! Her biggest takeaway when entering a quilt into Quilt Con is to make sure your quilt stands out amongst the crowd and that your pictures show how amazing it is!
June Meeting - Jacquie Gering
Our upcoming June meeting, which will be on the 7th, Jacquie Gering will be joining us! She will also be hosting a workshop the following day based on her book Walk 2.0. For more information and to get yourself signed up please see this blogpost - http://omqg.blogspot.com/2022/05/jacquie-gering-workshop-sign-up.html
Round 1 of our OMQG Merchandise order has been submitted to MJ Sewing! We are going to begin taking orders for Round 2 now. We received some new mock ups of some of the items and they look so cool! We are unsure of when we will close Round 2 but once we do there may not be another round until this fall.
