The Omaha Modern Quilt Guild is proud to host a quilt show every two years, showcasing our members' artistry, creativity, and talent while sharing modern quilting with the community.
Our next quilt show is April 2–4, 2027, featuring a vibrant collection of modern quilts filled with bold design, fresh perspectives, and creative expression, including touches of intricate tiny piecing. Whether you’re a quilter or simply love beautiful, creative work, we invite you to come explore and be inspired. This show is your chance to share your quilts, try something new (hello, tiny piecing!), and be part of what makes our show so special. Whether you want to showcase your work or jump in behind the scenes, there’s a place for you!
Quilt Entry Guidelines:
- Must be a current OMQG member as of April 2027
- Up to 2 entries per quilter
- General Entry:
- Total perimeter of 360" or less with no single side longer than 90″
- Tiny Piecing/Small Quilt Category:
- Total perimeter of 119″ or less
- All quilt styles welcome; modern quilts encouraged
- Quilts must be completed between April 2025 - February 2027
- Quilting Demos / Make-and-Take activities
- Quilt raffle coordination
- Marketing & promotion
- OMQG Merchandise Market coordination
