April OMQG 22 BOM Block
For April we will be pulling from the pattern Kite Tails by Amy Friend from During Quiet Time.
Susie Bonder, our guild President, has made the block ahead of time and wanted to share some tips with you before you get started!
April block is a fairly quick sew and a good introduction into Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP)These tips are useful for this month's block:
- Make sure you print your foundation paper pattern without any scaling. DO NOT 'Fit to page'
- Tape together (1) each of A1-6 and A7-11 ; then do the same with the B sheets.
- I marked my pattern with color where they will align for final layout so I was not confused when piecing the A strip and the B strip. (See photo)
- Cut your fabric as outlined in the instructions, they were spot on!
