Omaga MQG Backpacks for Boys Town

 Omaha MQG
Backpacks for Boys Town!

As Casey Cline mentioned at our February meeting, Boys Town has requested 50 small (about 8-1/2" square) drawstring backpacks for their 1-5 year old patients that are admitted weekly for a long-term EEG. (The backpacks are needed to carry the EEG equipment.) Stephanie Jacobson has made a very simple lined backpack that only took about 30 minutes to complete!

If you would like to donate fabric or use your own fabric to make a backpack, the most popular backpack requests are anything Disney, Paw Patrol, cars, trucks, animals and unicorns. Two fat quarters (one for the exterior and one for the lining) are more than enough fabric for a backpack! We also have a few kits if you don't have your own fabric but would like to make one. Please email board@omahamqg.com to request.

Please bring completed bags to the next meeting or reach out to board@omahamqg.com to coordinate a drop off, pick up or for a mailing address.
